I'm Laura, and I'm certified to teach kindergarteners through eighth-graders in the state of Ohio. I have 17 years of experience as a teacher, and 20 years of experience as a tutor. My specialty is reading, but I can also help students with writing, English grammar, study skills and organization, elementary school level math, and test preparation for admissions exams like the SSAT and ISEE. I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Northern Kentucky University, and I earned my masters degree from Coppin State University in education curriculum and instructional design. When I have free time, I like to read, garden, and play with my dogs.
